Njombe, Julai 25, 2025 – Viongozi kutoka E3 Empower Africa kwa kushirikiana na Innovative Technology and Energy Center (iTEC) chini ya Chuo Kikuu cha Taifa cha Seoul, Korea Kusini, wamemtembelea Mkuu wa Mkoa wa Njombe, Mhe. Anthony Mtaka, mapema leo asubuhi kwa lengo la kujitambulisha na kueleza dhamira ya ujio wao mkoani humo.
Katika mazungumzo yao, ujumbe huo ulieleza kuwa unalenga kutembelea vyuo vinavyotoa mafunzo ya ufundi na stashahada ili kuweka misingi ya ushirikiano wa kutoa elimu ya kompyuta, TEHAMA, ujasiriamali na mafunzo ya uongozi kupitia taasisi zao.
Mhe. Anthony Mtaka aliwakaribisha rasmi mkoani Njombe na kupongeza juhudi hizo, akisisitiza kuwa ushirikiano wa aina hiyo ni muhimu sana katika zama hizi za sayansi na teknolojia. Aliahidi kutoa ushirikiano wa mkoa katika kufanikisha program hiyo, ambayo inalenga kuwajengea vijana ujuzi na maarifa ya kisasa.
Mkurugenzi wa E3 Empower Africa, Bi. Ji-Young Rhee, alieleza pia kuwa programu ya mafunzo ya Junior Achievement (JA) Africa itawafikia wanafunzi wa vyuo mbalimbali vya Njombe, ambapo mafunzo ya ujasiriamali kwa muda wa siku nne yatafanyika mwezi ujao katika Chuo cha Maendeleo ya Wananchi (FDC) na Chuo cha Usimamizi wa Maendeleo cha Hagafilo.
Msafara huo uliongozwa na Bi. Ji-Young Rhee, Mkurugenzi Mtendaji wa E3 Empower Africa, akifuatana na Bw. Herb S. Rhee, Mkurugenzi Mtendaji wa iTEC. Wote wawili walieleza dhamira yao ya kushirikiana na taasisi za elimu nchini ili kukuza ubunifu, teknolojia na maendeleo endelevu.

E3 EMPOWER AFRICA TEAM VISITS NJOMBE REGIONAL COMMISSIONER, AIMS TO BOOST ICT AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP TRAINING IN COLLEGES
Njombe, July 25, 2025 – Leaders from E3 Empower Africa and the Innovative Technology and Energy Center (iTEC), affiliated with Seoul National University in South Korea, paid a courtesy visit to the Njombe Regional Commissioner, Hon. Anthony Mtaka, earlier this morning at his office.
During the meeting, the delegation shared that their visit to Njombe aims to assess colleges offering technical and diploma-level courses, with the intention of forming partnerships that will support the delivery of computer education, ICT skills, entrepreneurship, and leadership training.
Hon. Anthony Mtaka warmly welcomed the team to Njombe Region and commended their efforts, emphasizing that such partnerships are crucial in this age of science and technology. He pledged the region’s full support, noting that the initiative will help equip students with modern skills and knowledge.
Director Ji-Young Rhee of E3 Empower Africa also introduced the Junior Achievement (JA) Africa program, which will be extended to several colleges in the region. As part of this effort, a four-day entrepreneurship training will be held next month at Folk Development College and Hagafilo Development Management College, aimed at empowering students and youth with business and leadership skills.
The delegation was led by Ms. Ji-Young Rhee, Managing Director of E3 Empower Africa, accompanied by Mr. Herb S. Rhee, Managing Director of iTEC. Both leaders affirmed their commitment to working with Tanzanian institutions to advance innovation, skills development, and sustainable growth through technology and education.
